Bahrain’s new waterfront “Saada” construction project is awarded to Mohammed Jalal Contracting and Mr. Ahmed Jalal - Director of Mohammed Jalal & Sons Group signed the contract. The Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Engineer Mr. Essam Bin Abdulla Khalaf with Mr. Ahmed Jalal – Director of Mohammed Jalal & Sons, Mr. Khalid Al Rumaihi - Chairman of Edamah and Mr. Amin Al Arrayad - CEO of Edamah visited the project site of “Saada” in Muharraq.
A mixed-use waterfront development with both retail and hospitality services, located at the entrance to the old city, Saada West is envisioned to house a promenade with family entertainment, an experience of harbour-side dining and a modern marina hosting an array of boats.
The project is being implemented in two phases – wherein the first phase (reclamation works) has now been completed, while the second phase involves the construction of seven buildings with a total of 45 retail and food and beverage units in addition to a multi-storey car-park building.
Mr. Ahmed Jalal mentioned that MJS Group is committed to complete the project as per the schedule and within the budget. The “Saada” Project is expected to complete by last quarter of 2019.
